Canmakers and Packagers can choose among a variety of new technologies, ranging from shaping and embossing, to easy-open ends, or metal savings on smaller ends and improved graphics.  The best method of helping them save money in the manufacturing process while increasing sales, and allowing for improved profit margins is through necking.  The Ihly Spin/Flow Necking is a technology that adds value to the can for both the Consumers and Canmakers.  This offers the Consumers cans having stackability, and the Canmakers benefits of metal saving.

Spin/Flow Necker

Ihly now offers the capability of necking any 2 or 3-piece container from the 200 diameter (50mm) to the 600 diameter (168mm).  There are no height limitations.  Speeds from 200 to 900 cans per minute are available and would be determined by the container size, material, and the style and depth of the neck.  Not only can the Spin/Flow Neckers provide a deep neck capability, they can also add a Chime, Roll, or Label Retention Bead simultaneously, or added at a later date for no additional cost.  Learn more...
